About the Author

Wayne Hoffman’s cultural reporting has appeared in the Washington Post, Village Voice, The Nation, The Forward, and The Advocate. He is currently managing editor of Tablet Magazine, and a regular contributor to Capital New York, an online magazine. A native of Silver Spring, Maryland, he currently lives in New York City and the Catskills.
